Aside from orthodontics, Dr. Krause and his wife have raised four children in the community of Cranford. In 2007 he was honored with a community service award presented to an individual who has helped make Cranford better through volunteer efforts. As a physical fitness advocate, Dr. Krause has remained a lifetime member of the YMCA. He is serving his twelfth consecutive year as a director of the Westfield Area Y and is chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee.
