Dr. Ilona Rossignol brings a rare blend of academic excellence, clinical skill, and compassionate care to every patient she treats. An Ivy League–trained orthodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, Dr. Rossignol is known for building strong, lasting relationships with patients and families. She takes great pride in watching their smiles — and confidence — transform throughout treatment.
Since joining Cranford Orthodontics in 2014, and becoming a partner in 2019, Dr. Rossignol has played a key role in shaping the practice’s patient-centered approach and commitment to clinical excellence. Her warm demeanor and scientific curiosity make her a favorite among patients of all ages — from kids and teens to adults.

Dr. Rossignol graduated magna cum laude from New York University with a degree in mathematics before earning her dual DMD/MPH degree from Harvard University, graduating with honors. She then completed her orthodontic residency at Columbia University, where she was named Chief Resident and awarded a Master of Science for her groundbreaking research on TMJ degeneration.
Her academic foundation makes her one of the most highly trained orthodontists in the region — and a true leader in the field.

Dr. Rossignol is an accomplished researcher whose work has been published in leading scientific journals. Her studies on TMJ degeneration and cartilage development have been recognized internationally and awarded by organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Association of Oral Biology.
She also serves as a peer reviewer for the European Journal of Orthodontics and the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and is the Past President of the Columbia University Orthodontic Alumni Society.

Outside the Office
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Dr. Rossignol attended the prestigious Stuyvesant High School and is fluent in Russian. She now lives in Westfield with her husband, Matt, and their daughter, Ella.
Outside of work, she enjoys family time, exploring art and theater, visiting museums, and traveling. A self-proclaimed trivia buff, Dr. Rossignol also loves karaoke, crossword puzzles, and supporting the local community alongside her fellow orthodontists.
